In states that require white lining or where the excavator needs to definitively define the dig area, the standard method for communicating a dig site to a locator has been onsite physical white lining. Our Virtual WhiteLine® System eliminates the need for trips to the construction site to define the dig area. The white lining is performed remotely and virtually requiring no extra visits to the dig site. This saves the excavator travel and labor costs and improves communication with the locator. It also creates a digital record that can be layered with additional information for example what utilities were found in the dig area.
